3. How can I search a hotel that matches my requirement?
The fastest way to find hotels that meet your requirements is to use our 'hotel search box' as follows: Alternatively, you may choose from our list of cities to view all hotels in the city. You may then go on to view more info on the hotel, or click on 'Book Now' button corresponding to a hotel to view you room availability status in the chosen hotel.
4. How does the online hotel booking work?
Having found the desired hotel on our website where rooms are available as per your needs, you may further select the type & number of room(s) required along with any extra beds and additional facilities, wherever applicable.

Once the required room(s) is/are filled, you may proceed to view your invoice online. This invoice will bear the details of your booking, the full payment details, and the initial payable booking amount payable. This amount will have to be paid online only through Master/Visa credit card.

After carefully going through the invoice details and cancellation/modification terms, you may proceed to make a payment online through credit card.

5. How can I make payment? Can I book a Hotel online and make the payment through an offline mode?
The booking amount will have to be paid online only through Master/Visa credit card for all reservations. The balance amount, however, will have to be paid to our representative, failing which, to the hotel.
Even if you send a Reservation Request to us for a hotel-room in case of its current non-availability on our site, you will be required to pay online through credit card once we confirm your request. You may choose to view the prices listed in USD or INR. The actual transaction will however be done in INR only. View our Payment Policy for details.

6. How will I get to know if my booking has been confirmed?
Once your booking amount has been have successfully accepted online by our Secure Payment Gateway, you will instantly be able to view your booking confirmation (Reservation Voucher) carrying a reference number that you will be required to present at the hotel to avail the room(s). It is advisable to take a print of the confirmation page for future reference.

7. I cannot find rooms that fit into my requirements. What should I do? How Can I use Reservation Request System?
You may send your Reservation Request by specifying your requirements. We shall get back to you within 24 working hours with the best possible room(s) offer. Confirmation of the same can be done online by you in case the offer is acceptable.
8. How do I make a reservation for someone else?
To complete a reservation for someone else, simply type in the guest's name in the provided field instead of yours. Any further requests can be notified through 'Other Requests' field.

9. How do I know my reservation is confirmed?
The last step in making an online room booking is payment through credit card. Once you have successfully been through the process as described in FAQ 1, and made payment online, you will get the 'Reservation Voucher' online within a few seconds. This however, is subject to clearance of your credit card payment by our secure online payment gateway. You will be required to take a print of the 'Reservation Voucher' that appears and present it at the hotel to avail your room.

We shall also send you an immediate e-mail confirmation. This e-mail will include your booking and payment details. You may also, at any time, review your reservation details/history online by logging into 'My Account' using your registration Username and Password.

10. How can I check the status of reservation requests made by me? Where can I find a record of past/current bookings/requests made by me?
You may, at any time, review your reservation details/history online by logging into 'My Account' using your registration Username and Password.

11. I need time to think about finalizing my room reservation. Can I place a reservation on hold?
No. In order to give our users the benefits of competitive rates based on real time availability of hotel-rooms, we do not allow anyone to block a room for long before he/she decides to book it. Once logged in, if the user remains inactive for more than 20 minutes, the user session is timed out and he/she is required to login again to go through the reservation process. This also increases user privacy and security.

12. Is it necessary for me to register at your website?
To make a Room Reservation or to send a Reservation Request, it is mandatory to register and acquire a Username and Password that enables you to login to 'My Account'. Using 'My Account', you can not only make hotel reservations by paying through credit card, but also get to view all your reservation details and history of any bookings made through our website at any time, from anywhere on Internet.

However, it is not necessary to register to view hotel room rates and availability or to see hotel details.

13. Are there any hotels in India that are not listed on Traveltoursindia.com?
Although we try to provide bookings for most hotels in India, there may be some hotels for which traveltoursindia.com is currently unable to offer hotel-rooms. We keep adding more and more hotels to offer wider choice to our users. If a hotel/property of your choice isn't available, it is either because there are no rooms available or it is a hotel we currently do not deal with. In any case, kindly send us your Reservation Request and we will try our best to avail you the required/similar accommodation.

14. Can I cancel a reservation made by me?
You may have to bear a minimum cancellation charge as per our cancellation policy if you chose to cancel a reservation. Before a reservation is made, the cancellation policy for each hotel is clearly specified. You are therefore advised to note the same before you proceed to confirm a booking. This amount will be deducted from the booking amount initially paid by you.
